Bryant Trade is on... Again!

This time, the Lakers acknowledged that they're going to try to work things out. Of course this makes me nervous again because I wouldn't want Bryant on the Bulls for any combination of players... and we still Jerry Reinsdorf on staff. This time around, Bryants value is lower and the team that receives him won't have to deplete as much as before. We've already got a good team with 4 solid starters and a deep 12-man roster. Messing with any of that still risks not making the playoffs. John Paxson worked hard to put together an egoless team that's all about chemistry. The Bulls have Wallace, Hinrich, Gordon and Deng as definite starters. There's so much other talent that they can't decide on the power forward position. And their versatility allows them to switch from a small, fast lineup to a big defensive one. They would lose a lot of this if Bryant came aboard. Hopefully Bryant ends up on the Mavs or something... anywhere but Chicago!
