2007-2008 Bulls: Longer & More Athletic
The Bulls retained their core and most of the supporting cast from last year. So how did they get longer and more athletic? The great thing about keeping a hard-working core is they grow and improve rapidly. Deng's experience at FIBA Europe this Summer allowed him to play a Michael Jordan type role since he was "the man" on the English National team. Because of this, he can be used as a shooting guard for the upcoming season... perhaps, the long, defensive guard they've been looking for. When Deng is playing a guard position, it allows the front court to get bigger. They can have Thomas and Noah out there. The hard-working Ben Gordon has been getting better as a point guard every year. He's a great backup for Hinrich. They can easily switch up if one of them has a bad shooting night. Sefolosha's experience with the Swiss National Team probably gave him a lot of experience as well. He'll be another guard option. Hinrich is in top shape after skipping out on Team USA. Once again they are a deep team with no egos.
