Dwight Howard's Magic defeated LeBron James' Cavaliers last night for a Finals matchup with the Lakers. I never thought the Cavaliers would lose the series even when they were down 3-1. I thought James was going to carry the team, but as good as he is... he's not Michael Jordan and his Cavs are not Jordan's Bulls. The Magic looked like the deeper team and did a good job of building last summer. I don't think they're good enough to beat the Lakers though. They have a chance if the hot shooting continues.I really wanted James to make it to the Finals, but the Cavs loss has a couple of hidden positives to it. It proves that there's no conspiracy to officiate the Cavs and Lakers into the Finals... a matchup that would be the best financial option for the NBA. I'm also hoping it makes James rethink a possible resigning with the Cavs. In a dream situation, I'd love to have him on the Bulls, playing alongside Gordon, Hinrich & Rose.
