TZ Marathon

One of the signs of New Year is the Twilight Zone marathon. It runs for the whole day on New Year's Eve and has been doing so for as a long as I can remember. Many of my friends are into it also. They watch every year. It's always the same episodes. It's like an event. Not one of them owns the DVD set either. There's just something about catching a show or series when it plays on cable. I think that once we own a show or movie on DVD, it's always there for us. Knowing that, we never actually pop it in and watch it. But if we're flipping through the channels, we're likely to notice one of our favorites as it's on the air. There's that element of randomness that's somehow appealing.
