We have been getting some rain over the past week, but it was still not enough to make up for the 2 weeks of heat. I though we had something coming today. The skies darkened quickly and the wind was blowing. There was loud thunder and close lightning strikes. It almost felt like the time before the tornado last year. It just came in all of a sudden. Well... after all that commotion, nothing much happened. We had spurts of rain (maybe hail) that lasted less than a minute each. Not even every spot on the ground got hit. It was very strange. I felt like there should have been a 2 inch downpour based on the thunder and lightning. I guess Mother Nature just couldn't get it out.
