The Bulls started their season last night with a strong win against the Spurs. It was a typical victory with spread out scoring. Derrick Rose, coming off a preseason ankle injury looked like he was in top shape as he pulled off some impressive ankle breakers. The seasoned Tony Parker looked bad against the future great point guard. They outrebounded and outdefended one of the best in the West. On a night like that, there was no need for Ben Gordon.
However, right now, they're getting killed by the Celtics. Last year when the Bulls had a big halftime deficit, I wasn't worried at all. They always made an amazing run, usually behind Gordon's hot shooting. He's the best 4th quarter player in the league and proved it in last year's playoffs. I guarantee that they're not going to make a run tonight. Who would do it... Salmons? NOT!
