Subway cars are always loud with people talking, but I was on an extra loud one this morning. There was the usual person on the cellphone at the end of the train. Then another guy did the same thing at the opposite end. If the stereo effect wasn't enough, another guy was playing music on his cellphone without headphones. It seemed like he was under the impression that no one was hearing it either. There's nothing in the rules against any of this, but something to keep in mind when turning up the volume is... what if everyone did that?
