Figured Out the Clay?

"It’s three matches. It’s a lot better than I’ve done here before. I like my chances maybe more than the other years. I feel like I’m moving a little bit better on this stuff. I’m able to kind of slide into my forehand."
- Andy Roddick

Andy Roddick just won his 3rd round match. So this is the deepest he's been at the French Open. He looked fast and moved well in his match, defeating Marc Gicquel easily in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4, 6-4. This is a good sign US Men's Tennis, who have been terrible in this tournament. While I don't think Roddick can defeat Federer or Nadal on this surface, I hope he stays consistent so he can restore some respect the the US on clay.

Federer dropped a set, but also advanced, as did Jankovic. Serena Williams struggles with illness, but was able to advance as well.
