Wang & Matsui

The Yankees aren't off to the start I thought they were going to get off on, but that's nothing new. They're a 2nd half team. I just hope they don't fall into the same mental trap as the Bulls this year. They did get a win today though as Chien Ming Wang got mixed up in his 2nd pitcher's duel of the year (in just his 2nd appearance). He gave up 4 hits and 0 runs as the Yankees shutout the Rays. The game was won by a 2-run homer by Hideki Matsui in the 4th inning. Chamberlain did the setup and Rivera closed it in perfect fashion. The Yankees are 3-3 with today's win. At least with baseball, if you fall behind the 500 mark, you can gain ground the next day. It must be nerve-racking in basketball to have to wait 2-4 days before you can do anything about it.
