Brgr is a competitor of New York Burger Co. as they both offer pricey burgers in semi-fast food environments. So I'm going to compare the two down to the details.
During my first visit to this place, I ordered their regular Brgr with a soda and sweet potato fries. The beef patties are better here. They cook them medium by default and it's just perfect... meaty and juicy. There are less toppings and less specialty burgers than New York Burger Co. though. And it's much more expensive once you start adding stuff. New York Burger Co. has a better tasting bun as well. So the overall burgers are tied. Sweet potato fries are always a good treat since few restaurants offer it. Brgr doesn't have the variety of dips though. They only have the standard stuff... ketchup, mustard, mayo & brgr sauce. I'd give New York Burger Co. the edge in side orders.
There's more service at Brgr because they actually bring the food to you and take your trash away. I gave it a slightly lower value because the food is equivalent in taste, but more expensive.
The layout of the place is strikingly identical to New York Burger Co.. It makes me wonder who copied who. The decor is much better though. Brgr has the look and lighting of an eat-in restaurant rather than a florescent fast food place.
I love the name too... Brgr. It probably signifies the pure all natural meat used. The meat of word being the consonants... with no vowels.
