I just picked up a couple of the PNY drives that I
posted on Sunday. They changed their hardware at some point because these newer ones, labeled "Optima Pro" do not have the U3 software installed on them. Instead, they are optimized for use on Windows Vista. They have intelligent caching functions for quicker OS startup and multitasking. I mentioned U3 in some of my recent posts, but don't exactly know when the cutoff point was. Be sure to look carefully at the box if U3 is a deal breaker.
