Western All-Stars (Part 2)

Yao Ming (C)
He's the MVP runner-up in my opinion. On the offensive end, he's becoming dominant and has such a wide array of weapons. He's got the hook, the dunk and a jumper with range. He's also one of the best free-throwers in the league, a rarity for a 7'+ guy. On the defensive end, he blocks shots and pulls down rebounds.

Dirk Nowitzki (F)
I'm sticking with Dirk because he's still putting up his MVP numbers.

Tim Duncan (F)
I had Marion here last time, but Duncan's numbers are a little bit better.

Steve Nash (G)
He's still a dishing machine. 12 per game is crazy!

Allen Iverson (G)
I switched McGrady out because AI has more points and assists. McGrady has more rebounds, but with Yao and Duncan already, I wouldn't want another 7 footer.

  1. I can understand on your selection, though in my preference I would stick to an international line up with Manu in favour of AI.

  2. Yeah... I can see that too. There are just so many good guards out there. That's the toughest position to choose. Pretty much each team has a guard worthy of all-star status. In past years, I've gone with Ginobili & Parker and I'm not even a Spurs fan.
